Welcome

Thank you for your interest in Active Prospects.

Active Prospects is an award-winning charity supporting autistic people and people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health needs, acquired brain injuries and other complex needs to live full and aspiring lives. Established in 1989, the organisation has grown to become one of the leading specialist providers of care, support and housing services across Surrey, Sussex and the wider South East. Today, Active Prospects supports more than 300 people each year through a diverse range of supported living, residential care, community support, employment and specialist housing services.

The organisation is particularly recognised for its expertise in supporting people with complex needs to move from long-stay hospitals and institutional settings into their own homes within the community. This work sits at the heart of Active Prospects' mission and has established it as a respected partner for commissioners, families and health professionals seeking innovative, person-centred solutions that enable people to achieve greater independence and quality of life.

Over the past decade, Active Prospects has continued to strengthen its reputation for quality, innovation and impact. Alongside investment in its workforce, leadership and operational infrastructure, the organisation has developed a strong culture centred around co-production, ensuring that people with lived experience have a meaningful voice in shaping services and organisational priorities.

The organisation enters its next chapter from a position of strength. It benefits from a stable financial position, an experienced Board and leadership team, a positive quality profile and a growing housing portfolio. The leadership team has been purposeful in creating the foundations required for sustainable growth, including investment in systems, technology, governance and organisational capability.

Looking ahead, Active Prospects has ambitious plans to extend its reach and impact, enabling more people to lead fulfilling lives while continuing to champion innovation within the social care and supported housing sectors. The organisation is exploring new opportunities for growth, investment and service development, while remaining firmly grounded in its charitable purpose and commitment to quality.

At the heart of Active Prospects are six values: Aspiring, Caring, Trusting, Inclusive, Vocal and Ethical. These values influence how services are delivered, how colleagues work together and how decisions are made across the organisation. They are not simply statements of intent but principles that shape the culture and future direction of the charity.

We are seeking an individual who shares these values and is excited by the opportunity to contribute to an ambitious, values-led organisation that is improving lives every day. If that resonates with you, we would be delighted to hear from you.
